No, not everyone has to worry about estate taxes. In the state of Florida, there is currently no estate for decedents’ estates. The Federal estate and gift tax limit is currently 5.45 million per person in the year 2016, which equates to 10.9 million per couple. Not many people have to worry about estate tax.
