2016 Florida Statute 732.901 requires that the person holding the original will of a decedent, deposit that original will with the clerk of the court in the decedent’s county of residence, within 10 days after learning of that person’s death. Then, anybody can go to the clerk of the court and look at the will, because it becomes public record once deposited with the court.
