You may certainly provide for your non-human friends after you are gone. This can be done informally by leaving the pet and an amount of money to a friend to take care of them. It can be done by providing for a local agency to take care of the pet. It can be done even by formalizing a pet trust, so it’s really up to you, but yes, please take care of your furry and your scaly friends.
