Our system contemplates that the original will would be produced for the probate court within 10 day of the decedents passing. If that cannot be done, than it may be necessary to prove up a correct copy, or even witnesses testimony as to the contents of the will. As you can imagine that’s more expensive and more time consuming than producing the original will. If at all possible, safeguard that original will and produce it postmortem through your agent.
