Typically the agent has to provide the original Durable Power of Attorney, or a scanned copy, or a photocopy to the third party institution that it’s dealing with. Make sure to get the original back. Durable Power’s of Attorney are designed to survive incapacity and if you have a relative agent, even to survive guardianship.
