Please see the information below from The Clothes Closet and Food Pantry of Orange Park about The National Association of Letter Carrier’s annual food drive on this Saturday, May 10. You can help by donating food and/or volunteering.
The National Association of Letter Carriers’ annual food drive is on May 10, 2014. Please place non-perishable food in a plastic bag by or in your mailbox on Saturday, May 10th and your postal carrier will pick it up. It will then be picked up by various food banks to replenish their food supply for those in need. The Clothes Closet food pantry will receive food collec…ted from the Haut Hall, Kingsley and College post offices.
If you would like to help the Clothes Closet with the postal food drive on May 10th at St. Catherine’s Catholic Church (1649 Kingsley Ave.) between the hours of 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm by sorting food, carrying cases of food, etc. please contact the Clothes Closet to sign up to volunteer at 264-5239. Any amount of time you can volunteer will be greatly appreciated and high school students will receive service hours. Pizza and snacks will be served in the afternoon and water will be provided all day.
