Meet Barney: Our Pet of the Month!

As with all cats, he is the proud owner of Lonnie and Renee Scheetz.

Renee came about Barney one day when she was running into Lowe’s for some gardening supplies and there stood one of the workers asking if anyone wanted to adopt a kitten born in their warehouse. Lonnie and Renee are true pet lovers so they quickly adopted him.

They were going to name him Groucho because of his mustache, but a dear friend of theirs who recently passed away recommended Barnabas, so thus his name became.

He enjoys playing with their two basset hounds and roaming around the yard.
